TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. All rentals are pick up/drop off from our studio at 129 26th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11232.
  2. Courier must come into our shop when picking up/dropping off. We are not able to take pieces straight from the truck.
  3. Payment will be charged when the order is ready for pickup, approximately 48 hours before the selected pick-up date.
  4. There is a 25% restocking fee for any rentals cancelled within 48 hours of original pick up date.
  5. All rental items become the sole responsibility of the client upon leaving our studio, including any damage, loss, or theft that occurs during transport, use, storage, or return.
  6. If any item is damaged while in the client’s possession, it must be returned regardless of condition. The client is responsible for all repair costs. Repairs are typically less expensive than full replacement.
  7. Each rental item has a replacement value stated on the invoice. The client agrees to pay the full replacement value for any item that is not returned or is damaged beyond repair, as determined solely by Let There Be Neon.
  8. Any alterations to rental items are strictly prohibited unless agreed upon in writing. Additional charges may apply and must be approved in writing prior to any work being performed.
  9. All rentals come with a transformer and wall mounting materials; dimmers are an optional add on.
  10. We require at least 24-hour notice to prep signs for rental.
  11. All rentals are available for purchase except clocks.
  12. Rental items must be returned by the agreed-upon date. Late returns will be charged at the applicable daily or weekly rental rate for each additional day the item is out, plus any additional costs incurred due to the delay.
  13. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes arising under this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kings County, New York.

 

PACKAGING

  1. Neon is very fragile. Handle with care.
  2. Neon that is mounted onto a panel or box will be covered in bubble wrap.
  3. Non-mounted neon will be secured to wooden boards packed in a wooden carrying case.
  4. This case must ride flat.
  5. Crates are not provided unless specifically requested and additional costs are agreed upon.
  6. Non-fragile items, such as transformers, dimmers, and materials will be packed separately.
